AARP Talk Story and Get Moving Event

9 a.m. to Noon
Please join AARP Hawaii, the Alzheimer’s Association Aloha Chapter, and the Hawaii Department of Health for a unique, free event in Hilo on Monday, August 19th from 9 a.m. to noon at the YWCA of Hawaii . You will have a chance to:
· Talk with, Cheryl Mathies, one of AARP’s top national policy advisors about what’s happening in Washington DC with Social Security, Medicare and the national healthcare law,
· Try “Tai Chi For Health,” a proven falls prevention exercise, led by Hawaii’s only Master Trainer, Ileina Ferrier
· Learn more about the Mediterranean Diet – what is in the diet and what the research says about how it can help prevent dementia and chronic illness. Chris Ridley
