CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation Launches New Website and Same-Day Approval
CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation (CCAF) announced the launch of its new website and online application process. The new technology will allow CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation to provide same-day, conditional approvals. This will enable faster access to treatments and a higher standard of care for people coping with cancer.
Patients will also have real-time insight into their status, eliminating the usual wait and uncertainty. Both patients and health care providers will experience an enhanced level of customer service because the site closely monitors each individual’s unique treatment plan and medication usage. The site provides reminder tools and an interactive calendar to assist patients in managing their care. Grants and payments can also be closely tracked.
CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation is also uniquely able to provide immediate access to the full array of CancerCare‘s free support services. “We have found that co-payment assistance coupled with a network of professional emotional and practical support improves quality of care for the patient and their loved ones,” said CancerCare Chief Operating Officer, John Rutigliano.

Caribou Coffee to Support CancerCare® in October With Amy’s Blend Collection
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, national coffee and tea retailer Caribou Coffee will offer a special Amy’s Blend collection of coffee, tea and merchandise to support CancerCare. The collection honors their original roastmaster and friend, Amy Erickson, who passed away from breast cancer. CancerCare supporters can pay tribute to Amy and those impacted by breast cancer by purchasing any item from the Amy’s Blend collection September 28 through October 31. For the second year in a row, Caribou will donate 10 percent of all retail coffeehouse sales from the Amy’s Blend collection directly to CancerCare.
In the meantime, CancerCare supporters can order Amy’s Blend in bulk from 6 lbs. to 100 lbs. Orders from 25 lbs. to 100 lbs. come with a gift card. Orders will ship once the campaign launches on September 28.
