HI State Bar Assoc. lauds Ka’ū Partners
Mahalo Letter from Charlene Iboshi, HSBA Hawaii Island Director Director:
“We had a successful Hawaii State Bar Association, Senior Counsel Division Law Clinics at Pahala and Naalehu! Mahalo for “all the hands” that prepared the food, Kau coffee and lifted the tents. Mahalo to Jay for driving and providing HCEOC transportation for the attorneys.
The purpose to provide free legal information was completed at two locations. From all accounts, it was a successful community service. It was “a blessing” that Plantation Day was rescheduled for the same day.
All the attorneys who traveled from Honolulu, Hilo and Kona enjoyed the Plantation Day events and the great historical display at HCEOC’s building.
Ten attorneys were on “stand by” by phone. They, too, wanted to provide their services to the Kau people.
Kau is a wonderful community with many caring people. Let’s continue our efforts and support Kau’s economic and social health and wellness.
We will follow-up on the projects for the farmers, Kupuna and youth we discussed. We received positive feedback from the many people who received helpful legal information.”
Aloha and mahalo,
Charlene Iboshi
